Vermont Photonics: Calibrating High-Accuracy Autocollimators

Published on May 02, 2014

Customer Application

Vermont Photonics utilizes the T-LA28A linear actuator for several applications in calibrating high-accuracy electronic autocollimators, such as the ELCOMAT 3000 (shown below). In this setup, the T-LA28A is used to set the mirror angle for a thermally-controlled, high-precision angular calibration station. The success of this station was crucial for the next stage of development with the ELCOMAT 3000 for Vermont Photonics' aerospace customer.
