About This Series
Zaber's RST-AE Series products are motorized rotation stage devices with built-in direct reading encoders for high accuracy motion. Rated for a 300 kg centered load capacity and 70 N⋅m of torque, they are ideal for high load, high precision, angular positioning applications. They have a large diameter 101.6 mm (4") aperture for a variety of thru-bore applications.
RST-AE stages are designed for plug-and-play use with any of Zaber's controllers. Set up is easy with AutoDetect. Once connected, the X-MCC controller will automatically detect and configure the RST-AE.

- Panel Mount DB26 with AutoDetect allows the RST-AE to be easily connected to an X-MCC Series controller and ready to use without additional user input.
- High rotational accuracy obtained with direct reading encoder with 0.14 arc sec resolution.
- 200 step per revolution stepper motor, microstepped up to 256x provides smooth and precise motion.
- 101.6 mm (4") aperture with H7 tolerance.
- Stage top supports M6 threaded holes with stainless steel thread inserts for added reliability.
- Holes on bottom and sides provide flexible mounting options.
Easy Set-Up
With AutoDetect, the X-MCC controller will automatically detect and configure the peripheral. Zaber's devices can share both data and power through a daisy-chain, which reduces cabling and makes set-up as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Connect the X-MCC controller to your computer.
- Connect the controller to the peripheral and plug in the power supply.
- Send instructions or automate your set-up using the Zaber Launcher.
