Nucleus® X-MOR-E objective turrets
About This Series
The X-MOR-E is a motorized objective turret which extends the high-precision focus capability of the X-LDA-AE to up to 4 objectives.
Unlike a conventional nosepiece, the system moves only one objective at a time which allows rapid focus moves under 30 ms and objective scanning at up to 40 Hz.
Compatible with a wide variety of objectives up to 250 g and 35 mm barrel diameter.
The objective turret is a modular add-on for the MVR and MSR series of automated microscopes. Use our Microscope Configurator to select the modules you need for your application.

- Secure and highly repeatable loading of objectives.
- Holds 4 objectives (up to 35 mm barrel, 250 g).
- Integrated shaft encoder ensures correct objective every time.
- Focus offsets and user-configurable data for each objective stored on the included controller.
- Mounts directly to MKR microscope cores.
- Smart indexing minimizes objective change times by selecting the shortest distance to the requested objective.
Easy Set-Up
Zaber's devices can share both data and power through a daisy-chain, which reduces cabling and makes set-up as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Connect the Zaber device to your computer via USB or RS-232 port.
- Connect the power supply to your Zaber device.
- Send instructions or automate your set-up using the Zaber Launcher.

For more details on daisy-chaining, read our technical article, "Daisy-chaining Data and Power to Reduce Cabling", or to determine which accessories you need for your system, try our Connection Guide Tool.
