A motorized microscope stage, also referred to as an XY stage, holds and accurately positions samples along the two horizontal axes while restricting vertical movement to ensure samples stay in focus as they are moved.
Zaber offers a selection of standard and customized motorized microscope stage products. Although designed for scanning microscope applications, these stages can be used for many other automated XY positioning tasks. Products are available with optional built-in controllers and encoders.
