About This Series

The MLT illuminators use high power LEDs to provide transmitted illumination suitable for brightfield and phase contrast observation modes. They attach directly to MVR inverted microscope frames and are located using precision alignment pins. No adjustments are required, just bolt it on, connect to the X-LCA4 LED controller and you’re ready to go.

For use with microscopes other than Zaber's MVR, please contact us.

  1. Accepts 10 x 46 mm sliders for phase contrast or ND filters (sold separately).
  2. Accepts 32 mm color and ND filters (MLTxxxAC only, sold separately).
  3. Built-in alignment features ensure excellent alignment and easy setup.
  4. 5-pin locking M8 connectors provide secure connection to X-LCA4 series LED controller.
  5. On-board LED temperature measurement ensures the LEDs stay within their optimal operating conditions for a long reliable lifetime.
