Custom Mounting Plate for X-LSM
This custom mounting plate wraps around the sides of the X-LSM linear stage to create a stationary mounting surface that is flush with the surface of the moving stage top. This custom adaptor also has locating holes for easy mounting.
Custom Parallel Drive LSM
This parallel drive configuration of the LSM-E minimizes the total length of the stage with a side-mounted motor and shaft encoder. The compact form factor is ideal for space-constrained applications. For multi-axis motion, additional parallel drive or inline stages can be combined to optimize the overall system footprint. Custom XYZ Gantry with Adaptor for an SBS Standard Multiwell Plate
This XYZ system is made of three linear stages mounted together with AB103B angle brackets. In addition, a custom-made adaptor holding a SBS standard (127.5 x 85 mm) multiwell plate is mounted to the Z-axis stage. The high resolution and repeatability offered by the system make it suitable for automating microscopy or pipetting applications. The stages can also be configured in different ways by removing a stage for an XY set-up, or changing the orientation and placement.
Custom Ultra High Vacuum, Motorized Linear Bellows Stage
In this custom application for a customer an X-LRQ-EC stage has been mated to a 2.75 inch conflat, edge welded bellows. The combination allows for 100 mm of linear travel in an ultra high vacuum (UHV) environment with stage and all electronics mounted external to the vacuum chamber. Reaching pressures as low as 10-9 Torr this configuration allows for simple precision motion control. The LRQ family of linear stage was a good candidate for this specific application, but other linear stages may also be appropriate depending on requirements.
