Microscope Optical Path Junction Block, 25 mm Filters, SM1 Threaded Top Port
The MJB25A junction block is designed to introduce an additional optical path to an MVR microscope between the X-FCR filter cube turret and the objective lens. This path can be used for applications such as laser autofocus or adding additional LED excitation channels with a second MLR3 illuminator.
The MJB25A houses a 36 x 25 x 1 mm dichroic mirror tilted 45° to the optical path of the microscope as well as 25 mm diameter filters at the entry and exit ports of the block. SM1 threaded ports make it easy to securely integrate additional optical paths.
Note that in order to accommodate the MJB25A, the X-LDA focus stage must be raised by 35 mm relative to its standard location. The additional distance between the objective lens and filter cube may result in vignetting (reduced intensity near the periphery of the image) when high N.A. (0.80 or greater) objective lenses are used.
