About This Series
Zaber’s OMG device is a high resolution, two-axis optic mount in a compact package. They are stepper motor driven optic mounts designed to interface with our X-MCC2 Series multi-axis controllers, offering high resolution daisy-chainable operation without the need for a computer. Set up is easy with AutoDetect. Once connected, the X-MCC controller will automatically detect and configure the OMG.
- 24 mm clear aperture. Compatible with 25 mm or 1 " optics.
- Sapphire seats ensure repeatable motion and positioning for your optic mount.
- M6 threaded mount aligned with axis of rotation allows for convenient mounting in your optical system.
- DB15 male, inline connectors with AutoDetect allow the OMG to be easily connected to an X-MCC2 Series controller and ready to use without additional user input.
- DB15 connectors have locking capability to prevent accidental unplugging.
Easy Set-Up
With AutoDetect, the X-MCC controller will automatically detect and configure the peripheral. Zaber's devices can share both data and power through a daisy-chain, which reduces cabling and makes set-up as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Connect the X-MCC controller to your computer.
- Connect the controller to the peripheral and plug in the power supply.
- Send instructions or automate your set-up using the Zaber Launcher.
