(Discontinued) NA Series
Electric linear actuators (No AutoDetect)
This page is for an outdated version, for reference information on specifications, drawings, and models. See the NA for the current version.
About This Series
These electric linear actuators, based on standard NEMA stepper motors, offer finer resolution, higher thrust, higher speed, and longer lifetime compared to our T-LA Series of linear actuators. Each electric linear actuator includes 30 cm of cable wired to a male D-sub 15 connector for use with our X-MCB1 Series stepper motor controller, which must be purchased separately. Linear actuators have a built-in magnetic home sensor.

- Integrated lead screw and leadnut enables a very compact linear actuator design.
- Precision 200 step/rev stepper motors are available in size NEMA 08, 11, 14, 23, and 34 (up to 1450 N thrust)
- NA actuators are designed for use with X-MCB1 stepper motor controllers
- Integrated hall effect home sensor is precise and repeatable.
- Available in travels of 16, 30, and 60 mm, with speeds up to 40 mm/s, and resolution better than 0.1 um
Easy Set-Up
Zaber's devices can share both data and power through a daisy-chain, which reduces cabling and makes set-up as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Connect the controller to your computer via USB or RS-232 port.
- Connect the controller to the peripheral and plug in the power supply.
- Send instructions or automate your set-up using the Zaber Launcher.

For more details on daisy-chaining, read our technical article, "Daisy-chaining Data and Power to Reduce Cabling", or to determine which accessories you need for your system, try our Connection Guide Tool.
