Zaber’s
MVR microscopes lower the
barriers to automated microscopy. Combining Zaber precision motion control and world class optics, these microscopes deliver unparalleled performance and value. The quick-assembly, modular design allows for easy swapping of key components such as the
episcopic and transmitted illuminators, camera, and even the tube lens, should you need to switch optical systems.
Quick-change system allows for objective to be changed in seconds and supports any objective thread
NEW: Vacuum-compatible Micro Linear Actuators with Built-in Controllers
Zaber's
X-NA-SV
Series of vacuum-compatible linear actuators are 20 mm wide, making them excellent for applications where a small profile is required. The X-NA-SV is designed with vacuum compatible materials to minimize outgassing and to allow for faster pump down
times. The built-in controller allows for daisy-chaining with other X-Series devices in the vacuum chamber and only requires 4 wires to control all units.
25 and 50 mm travel
Up to 30 mm/s speed
Up to 25 N thrust
Hardened, removable ball-tip
NEW: High-Load, High Accuracy Linear Stages with Built-in Controllers, Linear Encoders, and Dust Covers
Zaber's
X-LRT-AEC Series are
computer-controlled, motorized linear stages designed for positioning high loads to within 20 µm accuracy.
An integrated linear encoder combined with stage calibration provides high accuracy positioning over the full travel of the device.
Devices have low pitch, roll, yaw and runout and a long lifetime.
Flexible dust covers keep out moderate debris.
An indexed knob provides convenient manual control for versatile operation even without a computer.
Devices have a 300 kg load capacity, an integrated linear encoder with 50 nm resolution which provides slip/stall detection and position correction, and 100-1000 mm travel options.
Customer Spotlight: The Radiation Detection and Measurement group at Oregon State University
The Radiation
Detection and Measurement group at
Oregon State University
has built a laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) system to perform timely 2D elemental analysis on irradiation nuclear fuel samples. The goal is to develop and demonstrate the capability to characterize highly radioactive nuclear fuel materials in
hot cell or glove-box environments in near real-time. By integrating two of Zaber's
X-LSM Series of linear
stages into an
XY configuration,
the sample holder can be moved in the XY plane with high precision and repeatability.
"Zaber's stages are reliable and easy to control through LabVIEW, which is appreciated during remote operations. Zaber's customer support was timely and informative."
