Zaber is seeking an organized and proactive Production Manager to ensure the cohesion and effectiveness of the Production team and optimize its operational efficiency. Using your expertise in electromechanical assembly, you will develop, implement, and maintain new manufacturing systems to ensure product quality.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll solve complex problems alongside your team to scale our manufacturing capabilities. Your strong interpersonal skills will support team members and foster collaboration with other departments.

As the Production Manager, you will facilitate the manufacture of high-quality products: 

  • Oversee product assembly and production process control to ensure every device meets our meticulous precision and reliability standards.

  • Collaborate on New Product Introductions (NPIs) to ensure a smooth transition from design to scalable manufacturing.

  • Champion clear documentation, creating visual instructions that ensure products are assembled correctly and consistently.

  • Manage technical assembly processes, providing expertise and guidance in both manual and automated assembly systems.

  • Review failure data from returned products to drive continuous quality and design improvements.

As the Production Manager, you will support a high-performing team:

  • Foster a culture of safety by maintaining a clean and organized production environment that proactively prevents injuries.

  • Be responsible for staffing, motivation, career development, and the well-being of team members.

  • Assist with project management, including scheduling, prioritization, and resource allocation to meet production objectives.

  • Coordinate with the R&D, Supply, Production Engineering, and Order Fulfillment teams to complete interdepartmental projects efficiently and effectively.

  • Represent the production team in interdepartmental meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the company.

  • Are excited to work with people - you have empathy and understand how to motivate a diverse team to do their best work while maintaining high morale.

  • Have a strong technical and problem-solving background, such as an Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.

Production Manager Details

  • The starting wage for this role is $49-$64/hour, depending on experience.
