From ZaberWiki
This page describes the intended eventual layout of the Zaber wiki. It is also a good place to suggest/develop ideas for new customer wiki content or features.

Goals to keep in mind
- Users should be able to find all the information specific to their device and not have to sift through unrelated stuff.
- Users should have access to a downloadable, printable PDF version of all manuals. Links should have readable URL's in at least some cases.
- Editors should not have to maintain duplicate information on the wiki.
- Editors should not be any more confused than necessary when editing the wiki.
- We should be able to generate the Zaber.dll command help text from the wiki content.
Existing Content still to move to Wiki

T-CD
T-CD: Manual control section: talks about plunger. There is no plunger in T-CD.
- this could be a problem for other motion products... do they really have "plungers"? I replaced "plunger" with "actuator".
- T-CD can continue to use the information because the "stall" symptoms would be the same for almost any motion device connected to it.
T-NM
- T-NM a lot of content that applies to linear actuators do not apply to T-NM
- I've made some changes, but possibly not all... please specify. Mav 15:42, 20 August 2007 (PDT)
T-CON
- T-CON's user's manual needs updating. Low priority.
T-JOY
- T-JOY default settings: expand.
- where can I find them?Leigh8959 19:28, 3 August 2007 (PDT)
- Return settings - example give refers to acceleration, n/a to joystick.
Bruce todo
- Appendix A: Default settings need flushing out.
- Warranty - T-CON3 has a slightly different warranty phrase. Wonder if we have different warranty statements for different products? For example, the guarantee of 50,000 cycles only applies to T-LA, but some of our other products have more than that (like 1M cycles), or does not apply (T-CON, T-JOY).
General
- Bottom of all manuals: Category: Joystick Instructions, Motorized Device Instructions.
- this category is included here because some of the templates use that category (ie some MM commands are also Joystick commands) not sure what to do about this. - Rob
- At all times keep in mind that the reader may be looking at a printed PDF version of the content. Try not to exclude them by hyper-linking text without displaying the url, or similar stuff.
- Table titles should be bold/dark grey consistently.
- this is a bit of a limitation in my excel to wiki code. Mav 16:45, 20 August 2007 (PDT)
