T-Series/Initial setup/T-MCA
Initial Setup and Testing
If you are unfamiliar with T-series devices, you may wish to perform a few simple steps to familiarize yourself with their operation. When using multiple T-MCA controllers you will need a separate power supply for each T-MCA used. If you ordered power supplies with your devices you shouldn’t have any problems.
If you are not using the included power supply, you will need a power supply with output voltage between 12V and 48V. The power input accepts a Molex MiniFit Jr. 3pin connector. Your power supply must also be rated to handle the maximum total current draw of the device connected to it.
Once you have a working power supply, you can test the operation of your device. Try turning the potentiometer counterclockwise to home the device. When operating manually, you must home the device by retracting it completely every time you power up the controller. You will not be able to achieve the maximum travel until you have homed the device. After the device retracts completely it will stop automatically and you can turn the potentiometer clockwise to extend the device.
