What is a goniometer? A goniometer stage (sometimes called a goniometer table) is a tilting stage that rotates about a virtual axis fixed in space above the stage surface. Zaber's LMG Series motorized goniometers are stepper motor driven positioning goniometers designed to interface with our T-MCA series Stepper Motor Controller offering high resolution daisy-chainable operation. The LMG60 tilting goniometer stages pictured above are crossed roller bearing goniometers with a virtual axis of rotation 60mm above the goniometer stage surface respectively. The goniometer stage is 20mm high.
